Mike's Rail Cars SuperRoo

Post by rewilfert »

Does anyone here have experience with the SuperRoo from Mike's Rail Cars?

https://www.mikesrailcars.com/superroo

I'm looking at box cab style 7.5" gauge locomotives and this is one of the options I've come across.

I'm also looking at the Plum Cove Generic Electric.

Are there any others out there along these lines I should consider?

I worked with Mike last year, I picked up a critter chassis from a friend from Houston Area live Steamers where they had a class and several where built, but I needed a body. My chassis was close in size to Mikes but not exactly the same size so he made the adjustments to fit mine so I had him build it. He was great to work with and kept me updated on the progress. I can't speak on how his engines perform, look good on the video. I like the looks of his products, his workmanship was excellent and if I was in the market for another I'd seriously consider his engines.
