Another item on the to-do list was to wire the lamps.
I put a switch just inside the rear door, so you can open the door and turn the lamps on.
For now they run off of eight AA batteries making 12V. They are little grain bulbs from tabletop model locomotives. Will probably switch to warm LEDs eventually for brightness and efficiency. Also need to plug some light leaks around the lens housings. Maybe with a bead of epoxy or something, then paint. Open to suggestions on that one.

You can try black RTV silicon on the inside pushed into the gaps, and if that doesn't meet your standards you can pull it out and try something else. Great build looks fantastic.Harlock wrote: Maybe with a bead of epoxy or something, then paint. Open to suggestions on that one.

Try liquid electrical tape. Just use a dark color, dries in 5 mins.
