Lookin' good! That looks the same as my MEG frame basically. Steel sheet sides.

Just picked up my new drill press so once assembled I can begin rolling at a more steady pace. No more scheduling conflicts or work issues to slow me down

Nice work. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed project.
Something to consider, best practice for nested springs is for them to be wound in opposite directions.

is so the coils do not interfere with each other, but steps have been taken where that should not be an issue.

Received the next 2 packages of parts from Chris Friday while I was playing trains at the BCWRR presidents run weekend. Got in the axles, wheels, sprockets, journals, bearings, gear box assembly, and cab doors. Can't wait to get the chassis on its wheels!
