John,
Not sure if this might interest you but here are some AAR type "Castings" for sale. One set is the Main frame only, no journals etc. On discoverlivesteam.com--under Locomotives fro sale.
From past days all castings and FULL detailed trucks were said to be "Beautiful".

They appear to be making a type A truck which was used mainly under low speed switch engines.
The type B truck was used under road engines.

I'm looking for the truck that would have been under the Alco RS-11's, and I believe it's the type BALCOSTEAM wrote:They appear to be making a type A truck which was used mainly under low speed switch engines.

Re: AAR type B Truck drawing
Hi,
I took the photos in Schenectady NY of an RS-3 that is on display at the county science museum. The traction motors had been removed so I could crawl around inside the truck. The loco is still there.
The truck castings came from a member of the Montreal Live Steamers. Contact the club. I don't remember the the guys name - I want to say it started with a 'B', was about 9 letters long, and was french sounding, like 'Bordeau'. I got them about 8 yrs ago. Mine are cast steel and are very nice. A quick look thru my old check registers yielded a name of R J Blair - but my confidence level on this name is only about 50%.
The journal box covers were from Howard Gorin - Brookline Mass - 617-566-3628
The brake cylinders and brake levers are available from Precision Steel Car.
I got my wheels (5.125 dia)/axles and bearing from Tom Bee
I have not sourced the leaf springs yet, but the Mercer Loco utube videos have been informative.

David Gehrke of West Bend Railcar Shops sells sets of leaf springs for his trucks. They are like add-ons though.
