Box Cab Stress Test 1#

Post by cbrew »

a week late, but here is the first stress test of my box cab.
the designed drive train is proving to be very powerful.
this train includes three flat cars, one gon, one tank car, one cattle car and caboose. plus two bodies
Enjoy

If it is not live steam. its not worth it.

Hang on tight. Looks like it`s hauling more than the mail and passed the test OK.

she did good. it impressed everyone at the meet. now its time to move them to new homes.

I did just take delivery of a new control system from Ride Trains that includes sound, speed and lighting which will be offered as an upgrade. I hope to have it installed shortly and go back out for round two with its twin. and just latching up cars to see what breaks if anything.

CBREW,
Let us know how the 'newer" control from Ride Trains works. Seems to be an interesting new item. Even older `No Sound `# 25 controllers work Well for smaller locos and trains.

That is one impressive box cab. Steam locomotives are dinosaurs.

I agree, I am fascinated with Dinosaurs.

yes, yes they are. but its nice having something to move my dinosaur already when she is cold
and that's why i build this thing the way i did, its made to work, not just race around with one or two cars.

I have a total of two rtr (the twins) and a third way about 15 hours away from rtr and one still is flat kit form.
