what type of an R8 arbor do i need to run a slitting saw with 3/4" hole and a angle cutter with a 1" hole on my Bridgeport, I assume that requires two different R8 arbors, neither of which is what I just bought.

Here are some standard milling machine arbors for 1" bore cutters.

You can easily make an arbor with a straight shank for the slitting saw that you can hold with a R8 collet.

The links are just to show you what you need. With a bit of searching, better pricing is probably available.

Operating machines is perfectly safe......until you forget how dangerous it really is!
