No problem I can put the flats on, but was just asking.

In hindsight the "crusher" attachment doesn't have to be as tall. Nor made out of 3 pieces. A piece of mat'l 1" thick, bored press down on the rim & clear the side of the can should be sufficient. A threaded hole in the top would replace the nut.

Here's a sketch for those of you that wants to make a can crusher.
