I have used cheap painters drop cloths (from HF) to cover machines. I don't like the typical tarps and plastics, and I live in Phoenix.

All--

Here is a comprehensive update video of The House. It contains stills and video clips. Enjoy it, if you can!

I think the big news, at least for me, is that I now have a real bed in the place.

All--

It has been a while since my last update. It seems that the closer we get to the finish, the more stuff there is to complete. However, we are close.

The wood floors are in.
Bathroom tile is almost complete in four of the baths.
Electrical is done.
Plumbing is done.
Ceilings are done.
Cabinets are nearing completion.
Ceiling fans are in and operating. (Six 70" fans and two 52" fans.)
The ERV system is up and running. (Energy Recovery and Ventilation)
The heat pump is up and running.
Trim should be finished late this week.
The steel framing for the deck is complete. (Some pictures, below.)
The composite decking is sitting near the steel framing for the deck. (Wonder if it will just jump up there by itself?)
The gravel for the patio beneath the deck has been spread. (I did it two days ago . . . very carefully with the Komatsu.)

Big things remaining . . .

Exterior stone and stucco.
Water pump and on-demand water heater for the radiant heating and cooling system.
Pour the 14' x 72' pad for the patio.
Pour the 34' x 30' pad for the pad in front of the garage.
Pour the sidewalk and steps to the foyer.

Here's a picture of a tub in one of the master baths. Don't look too closely; it's just sitting there. But, that's where it goes. Also, in this picture, the tile has not been grouted. (Both master baths have this style of 72" tub.)

It's looking great, Bill. I'm a tad envious.

Here's the latest Construction Update video. We've made a LOT of progress. The house looks like a mess because it is; stuff is piled everywhere, but you will see some changes.

For my part, I've been clearing land, taking the saplings out between larger trees and leaving brush hog and finish mower space between them. Tomorrow I'll seed it.

This is a series of nine short videos of the largest black bear I've seen (game camera) to date.
