Golfpin--

McMaster-Carr lists them for $18.77. Here is a link . . .

EDIT: Link deleted. The link was to cobalt bits, not carbide bits. My bad.

And good day to you golfpin.

A good source of prices can be found in the MSC online catalog. http://www.mscdirect.com/
or the McMaster Carr online catalog. http://www.mcmaster.com/#
or the ENCO online catalog. http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRHM
or the Discount tools online catalog. http://www.discount-tools.com/index.htm
or the SHAR tools online catalog. http://www.shars.com/

But to answer your question directly - US$75 if you mean a drill with a .187 in drill and .437 in body. US#5
US$25 if you mean a drill with a .032 in drill and a .125 in body. US#0

I couldn't find one that was specifically designated as a 4mm but apparently seal killer did.

cheers.

earlgo and golfpin--

I screwed up. The link I posted is to cobalt bits. I am going to delete the link.

But, I second earlgo's good day to you, golfpin!

Many thanks to the "yanks" and to all who replied so promptly, cost of a similar ctre drill here in RSA R168 .00 when you use the exchange rate now the Rand 12 to the dollar and 20 to the Brit pound it seem,s to equate except that 99% of what we can buy here is Chiwanese. Have run into that perennial problem of a 3mm S/S bolt siezed in Aly and then broken off. The rubbish "cobalt" drlls that are obtainable here won,t even look at the S/S.
Thanks again Golfpin

thks for the pointer hammermill that would be the next step.......to be honest I don,t know but a few of the negatives I have got is that because of the total lack of control eg our postal system is that even if goods are posted to us they do not "arrive" or that such punitive taxes are levied at the point of arrival to make such a trans action financially non viable. I stand to be corrected.. but thank you for the input.
