16 Inch, 7 Drawer Kennedy Box
What style number would identify this shorter (16-1/8” Lg) Kennedy toolbox?
It matches the 20” square cornered box I have that belonged to my grandfather.
Did these square cornered boxes even have style numbers?
Later rounded corner versions of the 20 inch box are known as “520, 520B etc.”
Surprisingly, lock keys have remained with this 16 inch box.
Any hints, or a direction to follow in finding out more about this particular box style?
John

I'm probably old enough to be your grandfather and I have one exactly like that that I bought in 1954 but no idea of the model number.

Lew, you're not that old.
My grandfather was born in May of 1908. (Let me get out my calculator ; )
The 1954 time reference you purchased your box is helpful. Thanks.

Is there any chance it is like another well known but wood toolbox, wherein the info is on the cabinet under the lower drawer and slide up locking panel? Worth a try.

Certainly is. Round tops, not.
