hyd cyl piston

My buddy has a 3"id hyd cyl and wants to make a piston for it,anyone know how much clearance it should have ane how deep groves for o rings? also is there a source that tells o ring grove depth? Thanks

That is somewhat dependent on the seals. Check the Parker Seals handbook for suggested clearances.
