Every now and then I go window shopping, and there's some single lip tool grinders badged COSA
eBay sellers seem to lump them together as COSA/ Deckle grinders which leads me to believe they're
Japanese knockoffs of the German Deckle grinders.
Not much was found Googling for COSA other than the company is no longer in business,
anyone know anything about them ?

Re: COSA tool grinders
COSA was the importer of Deckel back in the day at least on the East coast.
Re: COSA tool grinders
Thanks, after Googling off and on for a few days you're correct that COSA was an importer for Deckle.
it's unfortunate that Deckles use a defunct or hard to get collet system.

Deckle had a better idea.
Of course it got better when they merged with their competitors....

Too many things going on to bother listing them.
Re: COSA tool grinders
There's a Cosa grinder on ebay that looks pretty good, price and location, but closer looks at the pictures show it's a Japanese grinder modeled after the Deckle.
I'm not sure if they copied it completely including the collet sizes.
