First Post - looking for x y table for dremel workstation

Post by dsteinschneider »

I've been reading quite a bit online and watching YouTube videos where people fixed design and manufacturing errors to make the inexpensive x y tables more precise (or in their opinion somewhat usable). I have been using my Dremel 300 with their Workstation 220 to route plastic parts to repair music keyboards. I built a jig from wood but results were pretty bad so I found out what I'm doing is called milling :D and that an X Y table for under $100 will probably be sufficient for what I'll be using it for.

I've learned that there are knockoffs of knockoffs for sale online so I'm hoping someone here can recommend a reliable source to purchase an x y table from.

Thanks

The Micro Mark X-Y-Table will be of high quality, and medium price.
$120 online price.
A good choice.

The MicroMark $120 table...

https://www.micromark.com/MicroLux-X-Y-Table-Attachment

looks to be identical to the Proxxon table sold by Amazon for less money...

https://www.amazon.com/Proxxon-27100-Mi ... =x-y+table

Much of what MicroMark sells is grossly overpriced. Check prices elsewhere before buying from them.
