Where I live (south Mississippi), my only option for metal material is metals online and a few others. BTW, I have held small metal pieces on the flat surface of the milling vise using double stick tape, actually carpet tape. As long as your cutter is sharp and you take shallow cuts, it will work. I have also used Scotch brand "VHB" tape.
