Lucky you! When I lived in Ca, there were many surplus shops around the SF bay area where you could find anything an experimenter could ever want. I don't miss Ca but I sure do miss those shops.

Pretty neat. Miami has a huge store called Master Electronics which has tons of great things. It would be great if every part of Miami except this store slid into the ocean.
Every hard-fried egg began life sunny-side up.
