Torx bits

Post by leeko »

Hi all,

I'm constantly digging around to try and find the little torx wrenches that come with my carbide insert lathe/mill tools, and the cheaper/insert ones tend to strip easily.

Does anyone have a good solution? I'm wondering if there's a decent set of torx bits out there, with the common sizes of bits needed for insert changes? How does everyone else do it?

Thanks,

Lee

I think all my tooling uses 15, 10, & 8.

I have a whole set, that I mounted on the cover of my table saw. I have metric & inch tee-handled allens on the tabletop too.
The table saw sits between the mill on one wall, and the lathe on the other, so easy to grab what I need whichever I am using.

(Looks like it's far away from the mill, but it's only 5')

They're standard things, get them from wherever you buy tools.
Get good ones from wherever you buy good tools.
