The pdf of the patterns came ok, the second one with the text is missing the left half.
The picture of the seals I ordered do look similar to the crwa1 in your diagram, so there's reason for optimism.
That will make life easy; all I have to do is cut a recess into each end of the housing to bonk the seals into, and cut the shaft down slightly at the ends.
I won't get the seals for a week or two, it's my last order from the UK before Brexit!

It’s actually one big happy page, split in two to fit in a std 8-1/2 x 11 book.
CRW1 and CRWA1 are common. If you look at the cross section, in comparison to the other designs, they have the longest lateral lip length, which is what makes them more forgiving to out of center installations.
Let us know how it all works out when you get all the parts!
I have seen carriers designed similar to what you have, but most had Timken tapered bearings, and all were sealed.

I fitted the seals and tested on the bench; well on the lathe actually. I let the lathe spin the axle while I deflected the housing. It almost worked...
But it didn't.
So I took it apart, made the seal seats oversized with matching caps.
The steel plates sandwich the rubberized seal tightly, so the seal can move around until the nuts are tightened.
That should solve the problem.
I cleaned up the cone too, and made new nuts because the old ones were very not nice.
It's a totally mysterious object; the assembly nuts are 3/8" thread, but for a 17mm wrench. That would indicate it was made for a metric market destination, but there have been repairs done with imperial screws.
It came to me in a boat I bought 30 years ago, and it was really old at the time. Far too big for any motor that the small vessel could have had, it was surely bought second hand.
After I did this, I made a new prop shaft from 45mm stainless. It's all stacked at my house in Portugal, waiting to travel back to the boat some day. note; the flange is mild steel
But it didn't.

Maybe a very thin Delrin seal. Probably wouldn’t last more than a couple of years but it may be a simple solution. I guess it all depends on the amount of work to remove that assembly.
