The above is a site that was sent to me today about Starrett being American made!

According to a 1996 Starrett catalog, they have plants in Brazil, Scotland and England. I do believe they also have a plant in China, but I don't know what is made there.The Scotland location makes saw blades and hole saws. The England location makes optical comparators.
