Here's a bit of video to show that the tool does work. Not without some trouble though!
All of my 1st attempts were absolutely miserable due to awful, screaming chatter. I tried various re-grinds on the tip of the tool but nothing worked. I finally had to crank the spindle by hand to cut the 1st part. Took me over 2 hrs.!
I was about to give up on it in disgust but a kindly gent from Finland (thanks Jaakko!) on another forum thread mentioned turning the tool upside down and cutting on the back side. That was the solution; man does it cut nice now! See, I knew what I was doing all along.
