If anyone has 1 of these benders, could you tell me the dia' of the holes for the various pins? I'm reworking a generic version & it might be easier to adapt a Hossfeld part rather than attempt to make the part from scratch (heavy heating & bending req'd).
Thank you.

Re: Hossfeld Bender Question
OK! The pivot hole is 0.777, for a 3/4" pin. The row of holes for the fixtures are 0.645, for 5/8" pins.
There two small holes at the ends of the row of 5/8 ones that measure 0.440 (no idea what they
are for)
Now to see if I can post a pix.
Another try smaller size, was too big.
OK that works. Does that answer all the requirements?

Re: Hossfeld Bender Question
Lew, thanks for checking. Unfortunately that makes the pins too large to work w/ my bender (5/8" dia holes). I think I've got a workaround to my dilemma though.

Re: Hossfeld Bender Question
Lew the .440 holes are for the 19b4 U Pin since it has a smaller pin on the end for the .440 hole. The regular U Pin has 5/8 on the shaft and on the pin end...BobLew Hartswick wrote: There two small holes at the ends of the row of 5/8 ones that measure 0.440 (no idea what they

Interesting, I built my own Bender about 8 years ago.aametalmaster wrote:

But as I am getting older, I have had a hard time doing some of the bends.
So, I build a bracket (like the picture) to hold a hand jack like the picture to bend the heavy stuff.
