All this discussion reminds me of the "Stanley" hammer I bought from Amazon a few years ago.

Yes the head is not on straight and yes it was made in Mexico, and doesn't look anything like a real Stanley hammer even though it has a head and a handle. Grrrr.
I sent it back and bought a nice hammer from ACE even though it was Chinese and not inexpensive.
