New vs Old 10K

Does anyone know if this steady rest for the new Grizzly South bend 10K

Will fit the bed of the original South Bend 10K ?

I would doubt the any machine parts would interchange ,about the only thing the same is the name.

I was hoping that they maybe used the same dimensions on the bed..

A phone call to Grizzly customer service would most likely reveal that for sure.

Yeah I tried that :roll:

Seems the " technical" people read and repeat the info that is on the catalog page.

When I asked if they could send me a copy of the blueprint or mechanical drawing with the manufactured dimensions you'd have thought
I'd have called SAC and asked for the nuclear missile launch codes.

I was just hoping that maybe someone here has a new AND old 10K so that I could find out how much difference
there is between the " new " bed and the old one.
