This may be interesting. I had a 12X36" Atlas Craftsman and it came with some tooling and parts. Two of the parts were broken apart change gear levers. The ones on the lathe were green in color and solid iron. The ones which were broken were some cheaper cast web design, same color as the lathe. Later on, I realized the green ones came from the Commercial series.

THAT is IT! Very nice lathe Steve. Tied to that perfect stand it is even a better machine.

Not sure of the numbers, but for sure the commercial model is heavier.
