Are you asking about Standard-Modern lathes? If so, wonderful machines. Mostly sold to themCanadian and US military for decades. They are sort of the Canadian equivalent of US Made South Bends. Two Canadian icon...

We can go into memory but without a clue of which "Modern" he inquires about. It may be a 6000 lb. lathe built in the last 10 years.

Modern tool Inc. is the one I mean , sorry. It's a new machine weighs 8000 lbs, 4inch spindle bore. Not installed yet, finishes are crappy, tailstock crank handle looks like it was forged in the 1700's.
