Tramming a milling machine vise

Post by Mr Ron »

I came across this U-tube video and felt it was interesting enough to pass it along. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_l2dhpIOLY I'm going to remove the key from the bottom of my vise after watching this video.

Yeah I thought that was an excellent video also. I ran across it some months ago. Tom and half a dozen other guy's on youtube are a refreshing change from the one's who have a bad habit of posting wrong or even dangerous information. The Tool and Die Guy is another good one allthough a lot of his videos aren't free to watch. Abom79 is another really good one to subscribe to. And there's a guy in Australia with the username of Clickspring. He's a hobbiest and most of his videos are about clock building, but he does some really nice work without a lot of high end machines or tooling. Some good old fashioned hand methods also that are pretty interesting.
