I have an older model Servo drive mounted on the left end of the table of my CVA vertical mill. I bought it that way, so no tips to share, but looking at this image, I don't see where it would be that difficult to mount it on either end. The crank was not on the left end of the mill when I bought it, it lives in my mill tooling cabinet.
