Possible solution for BP head problem?

Post by amron »

Hi
On my Bridgeport the two screws threads in the device that disengages the unit in order to change the speed are worn. I would like to ask if there is a solution to repair this problem without taking apart the whole head? attached a pic of the worn thread (marked in red) that the two pin/screws are screwed into. just to make clear - I don't mean the thread that can be seen through the hole, I'm talking about the two M6 threads.
Thanx for your help.

The threaded part has two more holes in 10 or 15 degree rotate that assembly should expose the two new screws there are two set screws on top of where the holes are also they retain the screws that work in the cam
