Power Feed Out, Dial Not Engaging

Post by SteveHGraham »

I have a GMC Bridgeport clone. The x power feed quit working. I believe it's still running, but it's not engaging the table. And tonight the right-hand dial started slipping when I was using it manually.

Any idea what I should look for when I dig around in there to see what's wrong?

Not sure about the details of your machine, but ft the motor is running but not moving the table, I would look for a loose setscrew or a key that slipped out of place. Some dials are meant to rotate so you can set zero, usually just a thumb screw that holds it or not.
