Yes Springs. Im getting ready to order material for the springs now that i have a the molds for the spring group made thanks to the great dad of mine
One thing that i have realized having a job on the railroad full time and always working almost every day is the pay check. But then again my daughter takes half of my pay check every week for dance school. Single dad problems lol.

My sympathies. You could build a nice railroad for what you spend on dancing shoes! (But then, daughters are special. I wouldn't trade mine.)Mikadoguy wrote: ...

A few more pictures of a couple of parts being made.
Re: Railroad Supply USRA Heavy Mikado
Here is one of 3 USRA Heavy Mikados that Railroad Supply is building. One is 7.25 and the second is 7.5. The third one is up for grabs and will be gauged per the costumer that wants to one. As we continue our process with this engine, as mentioned during the Buckeye Limited at Mill Creek Central, we will have options to include pilot truck style, trailing truck style and valve gear option. Once the Mikado is completed we will be working on adding a pacific and mountain engines along with 0-8-0 using many of the same parts from the Mikado. If anyone has question or would also like to add feed back please feel free to chime in. Thanks again.

This engine sitting here is from all the new pattern boards and tooling we have made so far. The smoke box is rolled steel. We have Jim (aka rrnut) who is also building a mikado from us got the smoke boxes done is making a few boilers for the engines.
