Pioneer Village in Minden Nebraska

Post by LarryMck »

My family and I went to this museum last summer and I came across the pictures the other day on the computer. They have one of the largest collections of steam engines that I have seen. It is a private collection. The museum is located in Minden, Nebraska just south of I-80. The have everything from toasters to steam rollers. Lots of old cars and air planes. There was an old steam tractor that the farmer drove over 75 miles to donate it in the 50s. It took like a week to get there. They have a copy of the news paper article on display. They also have big and small steam locamotives. I can post more pictures if there is some interest.
