Just took a ride on this

railroad (former Miwaukee Road track). No steam, but interesting. Goes through a wildlife area in the Chippewa River bottoms. A string of gang cars between two Fairmont motor cars. They have a bit over ten miles of track in service and will add another three or four when they get enough labor to bridge a washout (they have all the material and equipment).
They have quite a collection of railroad maintenance equipment, and as a hobby machinist I kind of drooled over all the scrap.
