Glenn,
We dont have an loading and unload facilities for the 12", so i'm sure how we could run your Ottaway.

We are planning on opening for a limited amount this year with the first Saturday after Memorial Weekend being the first.

Cheers

Thanks

I'm going to take a stab and say that the B40 was built by Rail Systems Co - Mr Munson. It was pictured on their website some years back with the same paint but minus the decals. And just for GP I jumped over and looked at his website and the picture after he was finished with it is still featured.
By the way, Mark Reardon here of Guymon Lions club with MTC G16 number 606. I have also attached a picture of the 16"gauge ballast car we finished recently.

These two 1940’s era Wagner’s just showed up on Craig’s List in Florida. 14” gauge, and reportedly in storage since the late 1980’s. Asking $98k,with one mile of track.

Very interesting to see these classic, old time steam locomotives still surviving, and apparently stored in decent condition.

Came across this wonderful 15” ga Hudson You Tube Video today, after talking with the owner, Kinsley
Whittum. The Loco is privately owned, and located in the upper Adirondacks area, New York State. Built and maintained by the Whittum family for the past 20 years or so.

Visited the Folsom Valley RR the other day. 12” ga RR with year round, scheduled daily service. Sometimes they carry 1,000 peps a day. In operation now for 30 consecutive years. The mainline is 3/4 mile long. impressive commitment to quality and service!

The RR owns two locomotives, a 1939 4-4-2 Atlantic, and Cricket, Eric Thompson’s original 12” ga Ottaway, that was used to startup the Redwood Valley Railroad, in Oakland, Ca. cricket is back in Hill rest shops for boiler work (new tubes) at the moment. So we were privileged to ride behind the Atlantic.

Note: the trailing truck on the Atlantic is not installed. I didn’t ask why. Possibility to better accommodate a patch of uneven track.

That's beautiful! I love the hood units and that paint scheme is awesome.

The consist included two other coaches. I sold the set several years ago to a follow in Daytona Beach. About 6 months later he was killed in a plane crash. Don't know what ever happened to it.

I went thru lots of books and old photos to find the correct paint scheme.
