Looking for a person.

Post by Patrik »

Hi,

Does anybody know Mr Mikel Westwood. He is from "Huston area live steamers" , do you know if he got any e-mail or account here. I thin Fred R. should know who this man is.

Patrik, the current roster does not show a Mike Westwood. Are you sure you have the right name and correct spelling?

I'm building a gauge steam dummy (tram engine) for my 10-yo daughter out of a Bachmann Coach, and an Aristo 0-4-0. A friend who has been following the progress suggested I should make a wood and brass kit to do the same with the Accucraft Ruby.

My real steam projects are all on hold pending automotive repair work (for inspection), and a change in the weather. Replacing, rolling and beading a tube is bad enough without freezing in the process. (and unlike the little 1/8 scale locos, its kinda hard to turn a 25HP traction engine boiler upside down to work on it, or bring it into the basement. Plus, I'm getting a wee bit too fat to fit)

Looking good Patrik, how much boiler pressure do you intend to run in that little Leggo Steamer when you get it finished.?
