I'm in the minority here, performance may be better, but the look of the home page...barf. Maybe it's just the color choice....I'd have to see old and new side by side.

If you aren't pleased with the display, may I suggest you make a change to subsilver? You can do that by going to your private page and make the selection. It is very near the same as the old display. I, personally, do not like the default setting, so I've done exactly that.

Readers should note that since this information was posted, subsilver2 (default on the old board) has been added to the list of choices. If you were comfortable with the old board, you can make the change t subsilver2.

I went to subsilver, its still not as readable and clear as what we had. Everything just looks too globbed together, I am already avoiding the site.

Sub silver takes a bit of getting used to, Prosilver was too pale, I think we need something that's got a little more contrast.
Dorin, are there other board layouts available ?

I can look for another theme too!
I am not sure why they made the new 'subsilver' still looks a bit washed out..but it is the most reliable implementation of it.

I took note that the title of the board choice is AllenStyle-SUBSILVER, while the style for the old board was subsilver2. Most likely not an option now, but if it is, readers would probably make it a choice. Does it show on the list, Mike?

Wow, I don't know how I missed that.
(Ok, I knew it was alan-subsilver, but I had not been able to find subsilver2!)

I have it enabled now...so know there are 3 styles to pick from!

I don't know what gets into these devolopers when you have something so good and they dis-improve on it.

Thanks, Mike. I've made the switch back to subsilver2, but I use ONLY a desktop. I can certainly understand how it might not be a good choice for folks using other devices.
