Re: Stolen trailer
WHEW! So glad for owner Peter Welch. It doesn't always go this way. I seem to remember a case from Australia wherein the copper boiler was ripped from the locomotive's frame and cut up for scrap. The rest of the engine was found, but also cut into bits, and for no logical reason.
Do you suppose one could install one of those LoJack devices, that sends out a GPS locator signal? Dunno about those things.

Re: Stolen trailer
yes on the LoJack as long as they have power to stay charged...
unfortunately there are few places to hide one on a trailer...but then who would be looking for it?

Too many things going on to bother listing them.

Re: Stolen trailer
Has anyone thought of putting your initials 12 inches tall on the roof of the trailer so it can be seen by helicopters flying overhead?
Re: Stolen trailer
Obviously intellect was low in selecting that trailer as a target. Lowjack or not that thing can be seen a mile a way and is easily identifiable; RR buff or not...
