d&rgw 360-1 in 1-1/2 scale for 4-3/4" track
I would like to have the dimensions of the components for walschaert valve gear for a model engine having a stroke of 2-1/2 inches. I am building this model and have not chosen valve port seizes but will use slide valve configuration. The original engine uses Stephenson valve gear. Note: I am an experienced Live Steam builder and have been in the hobby for 37 years. I'm a member of the St. Croix RR and have 3 engines that I've built all running on 4-3/4 inch track. I have a complete machine shop for this type of work.
