I guess you all have been wondering why I haven’t been active on the forum. Well the reason is that I have recently MOVED! I just moved my place of residents.

I have moved over the Delaware to Morrisville PA just across the river. I still have the shop in down town Trenton for now.

Don't blame you - NJ taxes are outta sight.

Our entire area is loaded with folks from NJ coming to DE to avoid outrageous property taxes.

PA is a good compromise...

I know one retiree that moved and her taxes wend down by $22,000 per year. Not a bad raise.

I just have to ask. What in the world kind of personal stuff would be taxed $22,000 per year. Could the lady be a multi millionaire? I have lived in California since 1941 and we just had our all Democratic legislature vote for an additional boost in gas taxes to fix our rapidly rotting roads and bridges. Governor says he made a mistake by ignoring the problem some years back. Cost more now than then. Socialism works until it runs out of other people's money.

The house alone was over $15,000 and climbing. The houses next door were $19,000.

The new condo is similar in square footage to the house, maybe even bigger, and the taxes are a small fraction of what the house was.
