I sure hope the Swanton guys had that original boiler 3D scanned for future reference and projects. Document all work on historic equipment.

I don't think they needed to have it scanned. If memory serves, I believe they have the original drawings.

Here's a couple more photos of the new boiler and a second loco with the original wagon top boiler still mounted.
