It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that Mr. Arthur (Art) Crisp passed away at 3:00 am this morning. He was 92 years young.
Before there was a Quentin Breen and a Train Mountain, there was an Ed St. John and the Over The Hill Livesteamers. Ed’s go to guy for track was Art.
Quentin Breen and his Train Mountain dream started and his go to guy for all things track, was yep you guessed it, Art.
Always a smile, never anything disparaging, always upbeat.
He will surely be missed.

Re: Art Crisp passes
That is sad news, indeed. My wife and I met Art at a Molalla meet back in '90. He was the salt of the earth. He and Gen (his wife, now deceased) hosted a number of dinners at their home for those of us who travelled to Chiloquin, and were wonderful hosts. His kind demeanor and Gen's thoughtfulness were something we looked forward to each season.
Rest in peace, good friend.
