Backhead/firedoor joint

Hi all,
I've determined that my firedoor ring isn't completely flush with the back head and therefore I have a but of an air gap between the the firedoor frame and backhead during mock-up. Are there any hi temp sealers that would work to fill this gap? I thought about ultra copper, but just want to check that it will stand up to this service. Thanks again.
