Thank Chris The safety Valves have been catching on. I have another 30 in progress. I would have had them done but the test boiler blew a tube the last setting secession and I use the K4 boiler to set them to much flexibility with the coal fire. I went thru 5 30 lbs of coal. I'm going to plug the bad tube for now and hopes that I can get thru the 30 valves OK if not I guess I'll have to re tube it. NO there not copper and I won't use copper either Don't like copper flues.

I bought one of Dave's safeties from him in Florida a few years ago, and it still works great. Nice pop when opening, and then quickly closes again after the pressure drops.

Hi All

If anyone would like safety valves please PM me. I have 30 valves in production and already ten are spoken for. I generally go by a first come first served basis.

Steve This is true. I have several video's up on You Tube but the true test is the customer's word on how good they work. More good products to come from Mercer in the Future.

Hi,
I saw your video on the trucks and would like to buy a pair for a 1 1/2" scale flatcar for my donkey engine which I plan to pull with a Shay that I am building. David A. Smith 714-6551550
