injector tubing

Post by hoppercar »

I have a couple superscale economy injectors, brand new, that i have had for a long time. They use 5/16ths tubing. I was going to use the brass 5/16ths tubing from pm research, ..Is this ok ? Does it have a large enough i.d. to allow the injector to work properly?.... 5/16ths o.d with a .050 wall, makes a .212 i.d.

I have used both thin and thick wall tubing with out a problem. But I prefer the 0.032" wall tubing from McMasters.

I helped a friend get an LS brand Chicago injector working. The problem ended up being thick wall brass tubing on the delivery side. We changed to copper and it started working. Superscale may be different.
