Valve for Vacuum Brake

Seeking methods for plumbing the steam ejector to a valve. I'd like to use a 1/4 turn ball valve under the cab floor, then run a control rod up through cab floor and machine up a stand/handle. I can't find a good valve to use though. The smallest I have found are still quite big, and very stiff. Any advice appreciated.

The small ball valves from American Model Egineering, work very well for what you are trying to do. Just leave the handle on them and build an extension with a yoke on the end that grabs the handle.

Just as a second consider using my injector starter valve. I have seen this used for this application.

You can fit it up with a rod extension to the back of the cab. You get instant results with the ball valve you would have to make stops.
