TODAYS PRODUCTION AND FIXTURE FIXING

Post by Trainman4602 »

Today's production making 90 degree elbows.

This will separate the men from the boys. The setup is outrageous.

I purchased this line of check valves from LS Manufacturing a number of years ago .I received the fixtures, lost wax molds and two samples. No prints.

One thing that is a NO NO in my book is to make fixtures from aluminum. They should always be made from steel. Aluminum stretches and distorts over time. I had to rework these in order to get the job done but in the future I will be making proper tooling.

I produced eight 90degree elbows.
