Cab turret piping

Post by hoppercar »

I used 1/4 inch pipe, for the steam feed to my cab turret coming out of the boiler...is this adequate size, or should I maybe go larger to 3/8ths?... my turret has steam for for 2 injectors, blower, and a steam pump......I know you don't run them all at once, and the blower is rarely more that partially open, so I don't think I will starve for steam coming out of the turret

1/4 inch pipe is more then adequate. Generally you will not be using more then 2 accessory's at any one time.
