Soler II Pumps

Soler II Pumps have had a great run over the years.
When solar machine closed in 2003 I was a fan of the pumps and had bought several from Solar. I purchased the pump division before they closed and change the name to Soler II. Not to make a ton of money but to keep the pumps on the market. There are several hundred working reliably at clubs all over the world.
Now scratch builders of locomotives is fading and I
Produced our last run of pumps last year. I still have a
Few pumps available but these will be the last.

I have had a number of soler pumps on past locos. I love them. I purchased one for my next locomotive.

Why is scratch building of locomotives fading?...I haven't seen any sign of that ?

Maybe someone like Banning loco works would be interested in continuing to offer the design.

Perhaps the drawings could be offered for sale and people could continue constructing these pumps on their own.
