Well not to me knowledge. At LALS we use 2x2x10" plastic tie for the 1" and 3/4" tracks. If you want me to , I could cut them down further for you on my saw, then mail them to you. Or if you have a table saw, or know someone who does, go get some red oak from a lumber yard, and cut them to the size you need.

Thanks C.P., I do have a table saw and a good supply of red oak so that would be like to carrying coal to Newcastle.

Sounds like you are making progress toward a 3.5" track??
There are a couple of us here that have an interest in that track gauge. The other guy has castings for 2 or 3 engines already.

My wife and I live a five hour drive from our club. We can pack and locomotive, tender, riding car, coal and tool boxes, the dog in her crate, and luggage in our SUV and still have room for a cooler with lunch.

Right, but nothing in the south. I think as we get older the hernia gauge becomes less attractive.

Hi Fred,
I'd never say no, but for the moment all I need is a length of erection track.
I've always been a "builder" rather than a "runner" - I get 98% of my enjoyment from the hobby in building and interaction with other builders. Running, not so much, . . so a home track project is way down the To-Do list.

Same with me. I'm in the shop every day and run maybe 4 times a year.
