Railroad Supply Designated Builder Program

Post by Mikadoguy »

With the newest Railroad Supply catalog and website that will be ready launch with a goal date of 15 December would like to continue the Designated Builder Program. Depending on response for those who would like to be added will be broken into Locomotives and Machining (East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast). Boiler builders, Engineering Consulting & Designing, Special services (Track and Assembly Services and Custom Painting & Finishing). The goal here is to help anyone that is in the hobby but is not a machinist in building them a beautiful locomotive.

I have already spoken to a few who would like to participate in the program. This program is to provide builder services ranging from the machining of parts to the complete construction of ready-to run locomotive or cars. This offers advantages for customers who need or want the assistance of experienced builders in completing their project. DESIGNATED BUILDERS operate strictly as independent business and are free to build products other then Railroad Supply products. They may deal directly with the customer for sale of parts, custom building and machining or assembly services. The customer may purchase Railroad Supply parts through a DESIGNATED BUILDER or from Railroad Supply and engage a DESIGNATED BUILDER to do the machining and assembly work. The Customer is encourage to contact a DESIGNATED BUILDER directly should they desire to engage professional assistance in building their project other then just Railroad Supply. This could also open doors up for those who are look to make extra money that are experienced machinist.

If you are interested in joining send me a message with your name, address, phone number, e mail with a small description of what you have built. Any RSC locomotives or rolling stock that you have built is a plus but not required. Thanks for your time and look forward to hearing from those who are interested in join this great program.
