i need 2 wheels about 5.25" dia by 1.25" thick. I looked around and Roll Models has some that might work but they didn't specify the width.
Anyone know of any others? Prefer plane truck type wheels.
Thanks

Fred,
RMI has 5" and 5.5" and they are 1.25" thick. The wheels that are not specified for 1.5" scale are for the NG equipment either 2.5" of 3.75" scale NG. They also have the traditional flange depth (.188") and a .250" flange depth as well. We bought some of the 5" NG steel wheels from them and they're fine looking wheels that are CNC machined.

Re: looking for NG wheel castings
Hi:
I'm probably to late on this but I have two wheel casting cast in ductile iron that should machine to thus specs. I can send you some pictures if you PM me a email address. Also Tom Artzburger of the Hartford shops has 5" and 5.5" wheels don't know how thick. Let me know if your interested I'd just give them to you if you pay shipping.

I didn't follow up on this but I did the heat treatment procedure in my kiln and id it worked just great. the wheels machined up with no problems.
