I have since moved to alum paint ball tanks, they can be picked up off amazon for 20 to 25 bucks each. 10 minutes on the lathe to modify the brass tank valve assembly and its ready for service.
With the pressure you are dealing with on a braking system you can also use paint ball tanks that are past their DOT test date. No paint ball field will refill them at that point. also, No one tests them, as the cost to Hydrotest them is more than the cost of a new bottle. I have picked up a number of them for free from paint ball players.
